Deployed GxP Director

Field / RTP, North Carolina

Every Seal customer is won, deployed, and proven by one pod: a Deployed GxP Director, Deployment Strategists, and a BDR. You lead the pod. You win the customer, deploy the platform, and deliver the ROI. The pod succeeds or fails on your leadership. You can read our full mission here.

This is a leadership role for a technical expert. You can deconstruct a company's entire operation and design the process that should replace it — deleting the friction that was never adding value. You can hold a room of C-level executives and PhD scientists as a subject-matter peer, and close deals on the back of that credibility.

No two days are the same, but you can expect to:

  • Own the end-to-end relationship with a portfolio of customers — first conversation, contract, deployment, expansion
  • Close complex technical deals with executives, PhD scientists, and operational leaders
  • Set the strategy for your pod and own the commercial outcome of every deployment
  • Work shoulder-to-shoulder with Deployment Strategists to re-architect customer workflows and unblock deployments
  • Coach a BDR into a pipeline machine for your territory
  • Present results, proposals, and roadmap directly to customer executive teams
  • Feed what you see in the field back into Seal's product and GTM

We go to where the problem is. Expect significant travel, around the world, to be onsite with the companies bringing new medicines to patients. This is not a role for someone who wants to stay behind a desk.

You have a deep technical background — engineering, chemical engineering, biology — and ideally experience in quality, automation, or life sciences.

If this compels you rather than intimidates you, join us.

24hr hiring process

  1. 1.

    Fill out the form

The application takes under 60 seconds. Give us three concise bullets with evidence of excellence. Do not prioritise related experience.

  2. 2.

5–30 minute interview with a founder

If we see a potential fit, we’ll message you the same day to arrange an interview. Do not prepare. The format of the interview is unusual and direct: we are trying to figure out as quickly as possible why it might not be a fit. We’ll end the call as soon as we think it isn’t; most interviews last under five minutes. Otherwise, we’ll leave time for your questions and may follow up by phone or WhatsApp with more questions.

  3. 3.

    Offer or work trial

If it’s a yes, we’ll make an offer. Application to decision in under 24 hours, including screening, interview, and follow-up questions. Insane urgency is our first principle, and we’ll expect you to match it. If you’re not currently in a role, we may suggest a work trial first.
